Pinsent Masons advises Awel y Môr Offshore Wind Farm Limited on extension to wind farm

Multinational law firm Pinsent Masons has advised Awel y Môr Offshore Wind Farm Limited (AYM) in relation to the Gwynt y Môr Offshore Wind Farm extension project located of the coast of North Wales.

Multinational law firm Pinsent Masons has advised Awel y Môr Offshore Wind Farm Limited (AyM) in relation to the Gwynt y Môr Offshore Wind Farm extension project located of the coast of North Wales. 

RWE has been appointed to lead the development on behalf of the partners.

Pinsent Masons advised AYM on all aspects of the project with the matter being led by Partner Melanie Grimmitt and Legal Director Michael Hamill.

Commenting on the deal, partner Melanie Grimmit said: “We were delighted to assist Awel y Môr Offshore Wind Farm Ltd. in getting to this stage.  This is a nationally significant energy project and we wish AyM every success for the next phase of development.”
