GUSTO doubles summer terrace ready for July mini heatwave

One of Liverpool’s favourite restaurants, GUSTO at The Royal Albert Dock, has extended it’s stunning outside terrace seating area to cope with popular demand as more and more people are requesting to dine alfresco.

With temperatures set to soar during July and August the team have more than doubled the number of tables that will now be able to dine in one of the city’s finest locations alongside the calming waters of Liverpool’s historic waterfront. Originally able to accommodate 40 Diners, the new larger terrace will be able to seat over 100 Guests.

Always a popular destination on bright sunny days the venue has seen a marked increase in people enjoying fresh air dining on duller days, as dining habits post pandemic appear to have become more European.

General Manager Angeles Solomon said “Alfresco dining has definitely become more popular as leisure habits have adapted to the changes over the past year and guests have booked the terrace regardless of whether the sun shines or not.   We have a fantastic terrace in one of the best spots in Liverpool and extending it has meant that more of our customers can enjoy our superb location as they dine.  We have also upgraded the tables and the seating so the terrace looks fresh and ready for summertime”

Whilst the interior retains all of the historic dockside charm that has made it one of Liverpool’s most popular venues the extended terrace has also allowed the restaurant to reconfigure the interior seating to provide greater spacing for comfort and post pandemic peace of mind for guests.

Angeles continued “We are always trying to improve the dining experience for our customers and whether you are celebrating a special occasion, or a missed occasion, are visiting the city for the first time, or the first time in a long time, we feel we can provide great quality food, served by one of the city’s most professional teams, indoors to marvel at the heritage of the building, or alfresco to enjoy the stunning views of The Royal Albert Dock.  We are absolutely delighted with our new extended terrace and look forward to the predicted good weather in July and August so that our guests can enjoy a memorable dining experience”.

As well as the  newly extended and improved terrace GUSTO have also introduced their seasonally adapted summertime menu bursting with all the fresh flavours you would expect at this time of year whilst retaining the classic GUSTO favourites, as well as some delicious new cocktails.

So, whatever your dining preference and whatever the occasion GUSTO is one of the finest destination venues in Liverpool to spend your leisure time.
