The Watering Can has Christmas all wrapped up!

One of Liverpool’s most popular Café Bistros, The Watering Can, has been busy making the venue extra sparkly and full of festive cheer as they unveil their Christmas cracker of a schedule which has something for everyone to enjoy! 

One of Liverpool’s most popular Café Bistros, The Watering Can, has been busy making the venue extra sparkly and full of festive cheer as they unveil their Christmas cracker of a schedule which has something for everyone to enjoy!   Whether you love sumptuous festive food in the glorious surroundings of one of Liverpool’s finest parks, like to get creative with wreath-making with Scouse and fizz, are partial to a traditional brass band or love the ambience one of the city’s finest choirs The Watering Can has Christmas all wrapped up.

The team have created a traditional Christmas menu full of festive flavours which will be available from 6.30pm on Friday’s and Saturday’s in December (3rd/4th, 10th/11th, 17th/18th), booking is essential and places are filling up fast.  Guests will be able to enjoy three courses for £30, or add  a celebratory glass of prosecco for £34.   The menu includes a fine selection of  nibbles, starters and aperitif with a great selection of main dishes including a traditional  free range Norfolk Black Turkey with pork and leek stuffing served with all festive trimmings.   And for those who like a celebratory cocktail or two, The Watering Can’s  ‘Festive Bevs’ offers a selection of coffee liquors, Glenmorangie, Amaretto or Bailey, as well as a delicious Christmas spiced mulled red wine for £6, or a super festive Snowball is also available.

Table bookings are available in the beautifully decorated main restaurant, which has been transformed into a super cosy winter haven, or a private dining room is available from larger parties and celebrations.

Nothing says Christmas more than a traditional brass band and The Watering Can are delighted to be hosting the  Allerton Brass Band on 18th December from 2pm-3.30pm.   And to make sure you are ready for the big day, on 23rd December The Watering Can will be welcoming the St. Nicholas Church Choir from 1.00pm – 2.30pm where guests will be serenaded with Christmas carols as they kick back and relax.  The team will be raising funds during this time for the St. Nicholas food bank charity Micah.
