Birmingham Council director addresses DIB audience

Downtown in Business was joined by Strategic Director for Place, Prosperity & Sustainability at Birmingham City Council, Paul Kitson at an exclusive Property Club, sponsored by DB3, on Wednesday 19th April at Bank Restaurant and Bar.

Paul refelcted on the city’s presence at MIPIM, discussed the upcoming UKREiiF, Birmingham’s plans for West Midlands net zero objectives for 2041 and the challenges and opportunities within the sector.

Downtown Director, Chris McKenna commented; “It was great to have Paul join DIB this evening for a fantastic conversation with DIB members. He offered some great insight into Birmingham’s plans for the future and it was a thoroughly interesting evening. TONIC TALENT LAUNCHES DINE AND DONATE FOR BIRMINGHAM CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL

Hospitality and catering recruiters, Tonic Talent, have launched their Dine and Donate campaign for Birmingham Children’s hospital.
The campaign will see £1 added to the customers’ bills in April 2024 to raise funds for Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
Many venues in the city, such as the Michelin-starred Simpsons, have pledged their commitment to raising money in this way.
