Taste & Liquor – the award-winning experimental festival organisers, are planning a triumphant pizza feast right here in Birmingham. In its first year, the event attracted thousands to Digbeth and it’s only going to be bigger and better this year!
Come on down for a whole festival dedicated to the ultimate finger food. Pizza is so versatile it suits every occasion and this event celebrates pizza in all its wonderful forms including the humble Margherita, new gluten-free pizzas, pies with deep, stuffed crusts, and even a chocolate pizza for pudding! There will be a style and/or topping combo to tickle everyone’s taste buds.
Taste & Liquor are known for fantastic festivals and this one is no different. With lots of food traders serving up the best pizzas to a legion of eager superfans, you’re going to want a SLICE of the action (I’m not sorry)!
The festival aims to popularise and promote independent street food traders. There will also be other street food stalls providing mouth-watering sides and outstanding puddings throughout the day. Multiple bars will be serving craft beer, cocktails, and more to counteract those savoury, cheesy pizzas.
This is a family event open to all with lots of entertainment including free face painting for little ones, and some of the city’s top DJs for those that have boundless energy.
Early bird tickets are £7.50 for entry only and £10 with a free drink. They are more on the door. Kids pay £2 on the door and children under four enter for free. The event lasts all day from 12-8pm with last orders at 7pm.
