Going Underground- City Leaders to Address DIB event to urge Government to provide ‘Premier League’ HS2 option

Following the parliamentary reception we hosted in Westminster last month, Downtown in Business is organising a follow up event in Manchester on Monday 5th September 2022, 12pm-2pm.

The leader of Manchester City Council Bev Craig, and chief executive Joanne Roney, will outline the reasons why the ‘underground’ HS2 option is essential for the city.

On the day the Conservative Party concludes its leadership election, this event will offer Manchester business leaders the opportunity to send a clear message to the new prime minister on how the ‘levelling up’ agenda can be progressed more effectively if this key infrastructure project is delivered in the right way.

Members only event. Places strictly limited. Registration details to follow next week. Save the date!
