On Friday, September 27th at 2 PM, we unveiled our bold new brand identity and mission to the world. This rebrand marks a transformative chapter in Red Rock’s journey, where we proudly redefine who we are and reaffirm the strong position we hold within our community.
It’s been a humbling yet empowering process, revealing the true essence of Red Rock and the unparalleled value we deliver to our clients every single day. Our purpose has always been clear: to “Keep people connected and places alive,” driven by over 70 years of combined expertise in the telecommunications industry.
This moment has been long in the making, and now, we’re more energised than ever to take this exciting next step. Here’s how it all began—and what it means for you and the future.
The Beginning Journey
While Red Rock’s journey began over five years ago, we faced a crucial challenge: we lacked a clear, defined brand that truly captured who we were—and who we aspired to become. As our business and team expanded, maintaining consistency across all functions became difficult, and delivering the exceptional customer
service we aimed for was harder to achieve across all channels. Doing the work was easy; articulating our identity and value proposition was the real challenge that many businesses like us, try to hide.
When we shifted our focus to a sales and marketing strategy, we knew we needed to unify our external messaging and showcase the great work we’ve done in the community. During this search for a new direction in a website, we sat down with Dawn Managing Director David O’Hearns, who identified the gaps and growth opportunities within our brand. The contrast between the value we provided and the story our brand told was a wake-up call. It was then that Managing Director Paul James made the bold decision to redefine Red Rock’s true essence and rebrand the whole company.

Through deep reflection and transparency, we stripped away the old perceptions of what a telecommunications company should be and redefined who we wanted to be in this industry. Every member of the team contributed to shaping our new mission, vision, and purpose, addressing both their aspirations and the challenges we faced across the whole business.
Working closely with the team at Dawn, we redesigned more than just our logo, but our overall brand identity, giving Red Rock a fresher, more modern and jargon free look that sets us apart in the industry. After ten months of focused effort, we’re proud to bring this transformation to the light — and to show our clients exactly how together we’ll move forward. Stronger and more united than ever, we are ready to better serve you into the future.

As we move forward, our mission is clear: to “bring people closer together” and be champions of building vibrant communities through open communication and modern thinking. We are committed to keeping things simple and always sticking to the truth in every interaction.

“This rebrand has been a 10-month journey—one that’s far from finished.”
When we founded Red Rock in 2018, the concept of branding never crossed our minds. We didn’t know what we didn’t know. Fast forward five years, and while we’ve seen incredible growth in every area of the business, our brand had fallen behind. We were a collection of mismatched logos, colours (mostly red), fonts, values, and pieced-together marketing materials.
To anyone looking in, our brand told a story that didn’t reflect the business we had become or the one we aspired to be. That’s when we knew something had to change. We partnered with Dawn, an expert in branding and motion, and slowly but surely, the pieces of the new Red Rock brand began to take shape—rooted in our core values and our vision for the future.
As we head into 2025, our focus is on building consistency across every part of the business, ensuring that our customers, suppliers, and partners experience the true Red Rock—who we are, what we stand for, and the value we bring.
