Mark Mills on point talking Cardpoint and Exit Strategies

Mark Mills, former CEO of Cardpoint the worlds largest non-bank ATM operator, who now helps businesses maximise their income on exit from their businesses, hosted a group of Downtown members over lunch at Bank, Brindley Place.

Mills delivered an inspiring speech, taking questions from Downtown in Business Chief Executive Frank Mckenna on a wide range of topics including how Mills set up his business, inspirations he drew and challenges he faced along the way. He highlighted the importance of knowing the right time to exit your business, the four core areas to focus on when operating a business and his secretly celebrating selling his business for £170 million in 2007.

Guests also had the opportunity to ask Mill a series of questions and suggested tips and tricks when it comes to running a successful and profitable business.

Vivienne Coles, Marketing Manager at KPMG said; “It was great listening to Mark Mills today about his journey from taking a business idea through to growth and then exit. Thank you Downtown Birmingham for a fantastic networking event. I have met some great people too and thank you for the hospitality Bank”.
