The panel went on to share their experiences from MIPIMUK 2018 along with future plans, ambitions as well as the value and importance of MIPIM to Liverpool city region. Stephen Cowperthwaite MD from Avison Young said. “Liverpool should be competing on an international and national stage and seizing the opportunity to give Liverpool exposure globally.”

Engaging the Future will be the main theme running through this years’ exhibition in Cannes, so we were pleased to hear from Sue Grindrod CEO of Royal Albert Dock Liverpool and #WIBA19 nominee. Reflecting on her experience at MIPIMUK in London and showcasing regeneration of the city’s waterfront, she explained the importance of the city brand and future placemaking.

Barry Wilson Director of Shape Engineering talked about the scope for brand exposure and the ambitions of your company. Furthermore “MIPIM is full on it is work, not play.”

A delegation from Downtown will be heading to the festival this year. Frank McKenna is very clear in stating “As a company we are big supporters of the property sector and cities, and where better to showcase the fantastic work that is taking place other than MIPIM.”
