Stephen Wundke announced for Downtown Cheshire event

Stephen Wundke is the CEO of Taste Cheshire which is dedicated to the progression of the Food and Drink Industry throughout the country. As a company they aim to represent the independently owned businesses of Cheshire by promoting them, they act as their voice and champion all things Cheshire in a destination Marketing role around Food and Drink Tourism. They also operate the biggest Food Festival in the county and the largest Hospitality awards with over 40,000 voting people annually.

Stephen will lead what promises to be an interesting and lively debate about what is next for Cheshire on the 12th of September.

£76m spent in Liverpool’s food and drink in Q1

Next week Liverpool Restaurant Week begins. Running from 22-28 April over 75 venues are taking part with hundreds of offers for people to download and enjoy. 

The value of the sector to the city centre economy is laid bare in data from Liverpool BID Company (and platform Beauclair) which analyses UK spend data. 

Food and Drink is now the largest economic sector in the city centre, around 37%. UK card holders spent a whopping £76m in just three months in the city centre’s restaurants and bars.
