Downtown in Business is delighted to announce the headline sponsor for the inaugural Women in Business Awards will be Bootcamp Media.

The gala luncheon celebrates the very best female business leaders and entrepreneurs from across Birmingham.

Downtown in Business Head of Business Support, Abby Goldie commented: “We are delighted that Bootcamp Media will be the headline sponsor for the very first Women in Business Awards in Birmingham We are thoroughly looking forward to working with Jamil and all the team at Bootcamp Media to celebrate the fantastic female entrepreneurs in the city.”

Jamil Shabir, CEO of Bootcamp Media added: “True diversity representation should look like the communities we live in. We all have strong female role models in our lives our mothers, sisters wives and daughters they also all play an important role in business.

We need to move beyond including diversity as a token gesture, to a place where we have a realistic representation of our whole community.

Women in business for me represents an opportunity where we can celebrate the great and good of women in business and see this as the norm it should be.”

Don’t forget to nominate for who you think is deserving of a #WIBA20 award, nominations close at the end of the month.
