Westrow and Revlon professional hold Fashion Week-inspired brand collaboration launch event at the award-winning Westrow Academy in Leeds

Westrow recently held a collaborative event with Revlon Professional, to announce the launch of a new partnership between the two brands.

Westrow, the North of England’s leading hairdressing group, recently held a collaborative event with Revlon Professional, to announce the launch of a new partnership between the two brands. The party, which took place at Westrow’s multi-award winning educational academy in Leeds city centre was a celebration of Westrow’s recently announced affiliation with Revlon Professional, and its associated brand, American Crew.

The collaboration party, which was attended by more than 100 staff members from across Westrow’s extensive nine-strong salon portfolio, was used as an opportunity to introduce the Westrow team to key members of the Revlon Professional organisation and to highlight the significance of Westrow’s most recent professional partnership. With Revlon Professional choosing Westrow’s state-of-the-art Academy in Leeds to be the home of its new UK-based Revlon Academy, the global beauty giant’s partnership with Westrow represents an exciting new direction for Westrow, uniting two equally dynamic and progressive brands.

The launch event began with an introduction from Westrow Co-Director, Steve Rowbottom, who discussed the affiliation and what this means for the Westrow group. This was followed by an introduction to the history of Revlon Professional, given by the global brand’s UK and Ireland General Manager, Lisa Jackson.

Attendees were then treated to an exclusive up-close-and-personal seminar, by John Vial, Revlon Professional’s Global Influencer, who, together with the assistance of the Westrow Artistic team, which included Hollie Watson, Laura Procter, Olivia Garbutt and Daniella Lilliu, recreated a showcase of global Fashion Week looks. Looks were recreated from Iceberg, Nabil Nayal and Charles Jeffrey’s A/W19 shows (which were headed up by John Vial for Revlon Professional) using Revlon Professional colour, styling and finishing products. For added wow factor, the models sported the outfits that also rocked the Fashion Week runways. Guests then enjoyed free-flowing prosecco and delicious sourdough pizzas, courtesy of Franco Manca, and continued to party until the early hours of the morning.

Steve Rowbottom, Co-Director, Westrow said of the event: “The Westrow and Revlon Professional collaboration launch party was the perfect celebration of our recent partnership and a great way to introduce our latest brand affiliation to the team. Joining forces with such a respected international hair brand and established manufacturer demonstrates how the Westrow brand continues to go from strength to strength, evolving and growing its industry presence – and that’s something we felt we wanted our 100+ team to celebrate.”
