New charity set to raise money for 18 charities in one event

North West Charity Events is hosting its first ever golf day and black-tie evening event – 18 for 18 - to raise funds for 18 charities across the North West.

North West Charity Events (NWCE) is hosting its first ever golf day and black-tie evening event – 18 for 18 – to raise funds for 18 charities across the North West.

18 for 18 features a day of golf followed by an evening of celebration with further opportunity to raise money for charities that match NWCE’s 2022 focus on resilience in mental health and wellbeing.

James Smethurst, founder of NWCE says, “We established NWCE to help charities make a positive impact on health and wellbeing in the North-West region. We are excited for this year’s first event on May 6th at Heswall Golf Club and Thornton Hall Hotel & Spa.

“The golf day was inspired by my love of playing golf and my drive to bring people together to support improved health outcomes in our region. We’d love to see as many people as possible joining us to support our region – either for the full day with golf or for an evening of celebration.”

NWCE’s purpose as a charitable foundation is to provide grant funding to help charities make a positive impact on health and wellbeing in the North-West region.
