What are three words to describe yourself: Most people would describe me as passionate and enthusiastic. Because of this, some would also say I am very talkative as I simply love what I do and enjoy explaining how agile workspaces are essential for health and well-being.

What do you love about working from home: I enjoy the fact the office commute is minimised, however I would never want to work from home all the time. It is a human need for interaction and so all the offices we design promote agile working – or hybrid working as it is now being termed. As people start to return to work and assess the size of office they need we will see a massive shift towards hybrid working. Offices comprising rows and rows of desks will die out and be replaced by spaces that promote innovation and collaboration.

Favourite sports team: So that I have something to follow all year round I have three favourite teams. Leicester Tigers Rugby Club, Leicestershire County Cricket Club and Leicester Riders basketball.

Favourite Book: Master & Commander series by Patrick O’Brien. The story telling is completely immersive and amazing with great characters. I think I have read them at least ten times!

Favourite Band/Artist: It’s too hard to pick just one, but my top picks would be Lloyd Cole & the Commotions, Steely Dan, or The Divine Comedy – who I was due to see live again, but obviously that’s been cancelled until next year!

Best Business Moment in your life: We have so many exciting things planned and our market is changing so rapidly that I think the best is still yet to come!

What advice would you give to 18-year-old you: Quite simple really – I’d tell me to have confidence

If you were allowed to have 5 people, living or dead, in lockdown with you, who would they be: I’d start with my Dad, then invite Rod Liddell to ensure interesting debates, Andrea Corr to entertain us with her fantastic voice, Les Dawson for the comedy and for enlightenment I’d choose Jo Griffin who is the author of the book “Human Givens: The New Approach to Emotional Health and Clear Thinking.” As you can tell, I am very passionate about this subject and it would be fascinating to explore his mind.

What restaurant are you most looking forward to returning to: We work across the Midlands, so I really like the vibe in The Hotel du Vin & Bistro when in Birmingham. Sexy Mama Loves Spaghetti in Nottingham and any of the Cat & Wickets pubs owned by cricketer Stuart Broad.

Celebrity Crush: This changes according to the boxset I’m watching. I’m currently crushing over Lauren German from Lucifer.

Your Business Heroes are: It’s another book author I am afraid! Stephen R. Covey who wrote ‘The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People®. Although he died in 2012, this continues to be a best seller – maybe I should swap one of my lockdown invites?

What Superhero would you be: None – I don’t do super hero’s (except when my grandchildren want to play!)

Why Downtown: It’s a really well connected community of passionate people who are dedicated to building businesses and generating economic wealth for our region.
