P J Livesey

This month, Downtown in Business is delighted to recognise PJ Livesey as our Business of the Month.

For more than 40 years, PJ Livesey has been at the forefront of heritage led regeneration, transforming some of the UK’s most iconic historic buildings into high quality homes whilst demonstrating that conservation and economic growth can go hand in hand.

The business is not only delivering exceptional developments but also helping to shape the national conversation around housing, planning reform and regeneration. That is why DIB has been proud to work alongside PJ Livesey on the Delay Means Decay campaign, calling on Government to reform planning policy and unlock thousands of new homes through the restoration of Britain’s historic buildings.

Our joint submission to the Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee sets out practical reforms that would remove unnecessary barriers to development, accelerate investment and ensure heritage assets are brought back into productive use rather than being left to deteriorate.

As part of that partnership, we recently welcomed PJ Livesey’s Managing Director, Georgina Lynch, onto the Downtown in Business podcast for an engaging discussion on the opportunities presented by heritage regeneration, the challenges facing the planning system and why unlocking historic buildings must become part of the UK’s long term housing strategy.

The episode offers valuable insight into the future of heritage regeneration and the reforms needed to unlock its full potential. Stay tuned as the podcast will be released soon across the Downtown in Business channels.
