What is the future for 5G was one of the questions raised at the recent ‘5G: Changing Birmingham in Real-Time’ event hosted by Downtown Birmingham.

The event heard from Gayle Cogswell fromWM5G and Professor Prashant Pillai from the University of Wolverhampton and was chaired by Amardeep Gill, Partner of Trowers and Hamlins.

The discussion covered many areas including the challenges such as how to serve a large number of people and how the usage is now about heavy data as well as asking the question why is 5G important for businesses? The outcomes included the real-time predictive management solution that the technology can bring.
