Christmas 2022 is set to sparkle for The Festive Group

Leading Christmas decorating company The Festive Group, based in Liverpool, have decorated the homes of the rich and famous for many years and turned many homes and commercial premises into winter wonderlands for the festive season...

Celebrity clients, sporting superstars and legends of stage and screen have been amongst those who bring in the experts at Christmas time to add the glitz and the sparkle to some of the region and the country’s most fabulous homes.

The Christmas makeover journey starts with a consultation from one of The Festive Group’s expert designers who will discuss with customers exactly what style and look they wish to replicate. Whether customers are looking for a traditional style, classic vintage, luxury extravagance, Scandi-chic, winter wonderland, neon-tastic, festive toy town, retro, or classic chic, the team will endeavour to deliver an installation of dreams. Interior and exterior plans are discussed, and expert advice given.

From taking the client brief, the team then commence to work on samples to show the client so that their festive dreams are realised on installation. Where necessary, the CGI department will produce imagery to scale to give a full and clear vision of what the finished installation will look like and at this point any tweaks or additions can be made to achieve the finished look. When everyone is happy – dates for installation and take down can be agreed and the dates put into the diary. Our clients can then sit back and relax knowing that their home or workspace will receive a magic festive makeover of dreams!

Jackie Peters, Creative Design Manager said “This year, the use of natural and frosted greens in with Christmas decorations is very much on trend. Ivy, spruce and holly are really popular along with red berries and cones introducing natural tones to client schemes. We are also seeing a lot of requests for oversized decorations, whilst some clients are opting for a more minimalistic approach this season. Rich jewelled tones are in big demand this year, including deep burgundy’s, midnight blues and emerald greens. Oversized dramatic festive doorways are top of most of our clients wish lists this year and pampas grass remains popular also.”

Paul Lally, Operations Manager for The Festive Group said “We work on Christmas designs all year round, following trends and buying new stock. No matter how large or compact your home is, adding a touch of festive cheer to the outside can turn a simple dwelling into a magical space. External festive doorways, wreaths and garland can look pretty and inviting against the dark winter nights. Sparkling lights can transform a space with the flick of a switch and turn a dark night into a winter wonderland. We have seen an increase in requests to decorate garden trees, full tree wraps and provide sparkling garden orbs as well in recent years. Exterior house lighting is one again in big demand this year and we have updated our stock to include some of the most cost-effective bulbs and lighting systems on the market. Our corporate clients are also planning early this year and one of first installations will be the fantastic 14 Bar and Grill in Bootle, which looks absolutely stunning.”

Paul continued “Some of our clients’ homes look so special over the festive period that people travel from miles around to get a glimpse of the sparkly havens that have been created. Christmas gardens are set to look absolutely sensational this year with a warm welcome from the moment clients turn into their driveways.”
