Liverpool-born holistic coach and facilitator Jade Adams and renowned integrative psychotherapist Abigail Iquo Isuo are joining forces to bring an immersive wellbeing experience to Liverpool this November.
The pair, who work internationally through Academy Actualise, will host Learning to Love Yourself, a four-hour workshop combining guided self-exploration, conscious breathwork, group exercises and movement to encourage greater self-awareness and a fresh perspective on life.
Taking place at The Clubhouse, Wolstenholme Square, on Saturday 21 November 2026, the event offers an opportunity to reconnect with yourself and explore what it means to build more fulfilling relationships with yourself and others.
Open to men and women, the workshop will be delivered by Abigail and Jade, supported by a team of assistants, with just 50 places available at £90 per person.
The event is supported by popular Baltic Triangle venue New Bird Kitchen, with Lorraine McCulloch and Jan Simpson helping to bring the experience to Liverpool.
For Jade, who works across London and Europe, the occasion marks an opportunity to reconnect with her northern roots, while Newcastle-born Abigail shares her enthusiasm for introducing their work to a Northern audience.
Jade said:
“Bringing this experience to the city with Abigail is particularly special. We both have Northern roots and share a passion for helping people discover more about themselves.
“So often we’re busy looking after others, meeting expectations and juggling responsibilities that we forget to make time for ourselves. This is an opportunity to pause, reflect and explore what’s possible when we put ourselves first.”
Through Academy Actualise, the pair combine approaches drawn from psychology, philosophy, meditation, breathwork and movement, creating interactive experiences that encourage participants to challenge familiar patterns and explore new ways of thinking.
The Liverpool workshop will feature conscious, connected breathwork using specialist headsets incorporating binaural beats and subliminal messaging, alongside guided reflection and small-group exercises known as mini constellations, which explore relationship dynamics and recurring behaviours.
Movement practices, including dance and shaking, will encourage participants to connect with their physical experience. Some sessions may be emotionally intense, with a support team available throughout. Suitability information is available via the booking link for the breathwork, and breaks and refreshments will be included.
Abigail, an experienced integrative psychotherapist and senior retreat leader, said:
“Learning to love yourself begins with understanding yourself. It’s about recognising patterns, questioning beliefs and becoming more conscious of the choices we make.
“Jade and I want people to leave with fresh perspectives and meaningful insights they can take into their everyday lives.”
Academy Actualise was created as a training ground for life, helping people explore their potential, challenge limiting beliefs and develop a greater sense of fulfilment.
Jade added: “You don’t have to be at a crossroads or searching for answers to benefit from taking time for yourself. Sometimes it’s simply about being open to new experiences and discovering what they might bring.
“We’re really looking forward to welcoming people to what promises to be a special afternoon in Liverpool.”
